History
The name Develop originated in 2000, when the company won the contract to deliver all of Anglian Water's technical skills training.
In 2004, Develop acquired Water Training International (WTI), a well respected company that had over thirty years experience in the technical training market, in an attempt to increase the company's portfolio of training offerings. This expanded the company into new markets such as gas, electrical and mechanical training.
In 2007, Develop Training was established as a separate company with the help of Barclays Bank and HSBC.
Today
Develop is the leading technical skills training provider in the UK, with a turnover in excess of £16m.
Develop provides training from apprenticeship level to post professional development offering in excess of 400 open and bespoke courses.
Develop have specialist teams of experienced trainers with a strong industry background, as a result we can develop and provide tailored programmes that incorporate best working practices, your own procedures and legislative requirements.
As part of ongoing investment in maintaining its position at the forefront the technical training sector, Develop is investing in behavioural training and has created a revolutionary new leadership program called MaTE 'Managing a Technical Environment'.
