Myers Briggs Type Indicator Management Skills Programme

A lack of understanding of individuals work can sometimes cause tension and frustration within a team which can subsequently lead to inefficiencies occurring and a de-motivated workforce.

The 2 day Myers Briggs Type Indicator Management Indicator course is designed to help delegates understand their own behaviours along with the behaviours of their colleagues and teams they learn to interpret how these attitudes and behaviours impact on a variety of things including; conflict resolution, Time Management and Problem Solving etc. It is this understanding of different personal profiles that will help improve the working relationships and efficiency of your workforce as employees begin to understand each others actions and work around them accordingly.

What will be covered

This course will give delegates practical techniques to encourage a "manage" rather than "do" approach. By increasing both skills and confidence and understanding the needs of team member's, delegates will be able to successfully manage teams to increase productivity, efficiency and evolve from team member to Team Manager.

Prior to the course delegates will be required to fill in an online MBTI questionnaire to create their personal profile, which will be reviewed with the trainer and feedback given to individuals will form the basis of learning throughout the course.

  • Individual feedback on MBTI results
  • Understanding of the different MBTI types within the team and how they can work together to improve efficiency
  • Communication & Conflict
  • Outdoor activities - several practical activities will be used to demonstrate effective communication, feedback and coaching skills
  • Communicating with others to improve performance
  • Coaching - promoting a 'manage' rather than 'do' approach
  • Plan of Intent - delegates to produce and action plan and commitment statement to take the learning back into the workplace
