Course overview

A 1 day training course for existing smart metering engineers, specifically designed to meet the geographical requirements of CSP (N) or CSP (S) in regards to specific communications hub's, the commissioning process and legal requirements of installation.

N.B. Candidates must hold a current MOCOPA and EUSR registration as a pre-requisite for attending this course.

Pre-requisite/entry requirements

Delegates must have achieved either of the following:

  • Hold current, in date MOCOPA authorisation
    or
  • Be an existing smart metering engineer on the EUSR register.

What qualifications will you achieve?

  • This course incorporates assessment and certification under the awarding body EUSR (or attendance certification based on employers preferred option). Upon successful completion, the delegate will be issued with an attendance certificate and/or EUSR registration.

How is this training delivered?

  • This course will be delivered both in the classroom and within a practical training facility.
  • The competence is assessed through written tests and observed practical exercises.

What do I need to bring with me?

  • Delegates must bring their current ACS certificates or MOCOPA authorisation or Gas Safe card or EUSR card, two passport photos, PPE and tools.
  • All reference materials will be provided.
