Course overview
This course is for all persons who assist in the construction of water mains and services. To provide candidates with the skills and knowledge to assist with water main and service construction and to achieve the Level 1 Certificate in Network Construction Operations (Water).
Learners must have their EUSR Water SHEA and National Water Hygiene card prior to completion of the qualification.

- QNC105W Working under supervision, contribute to health, safety and environment in the workplace, including hygiene.
- QNC106 Working under supervision, operate powered tools and equipment for network construction operations.
- QNC108W Working under supervision, assemble components to meet specifications for water network construction operations.
- QNC110 Assist in preparing resources and signing, lighting and guarding the area for site works.
- QNC107 Working under supervision, join polyethylene pipe by electrofusion welding.
What do I need to bring with Me?
Learners should bring a helmet, high visibility clothing, safety boots and safety glasses, overalls and working gloves.
Learners should bring their EUSR ID if applicable.
Learners can bring with them any materials used in their work, copies of risk assessments or management systems so that they can see how their materials fit in to the context of the training.
How is the training delivered?
The course consists of a practical demonstration and assessment of practical skills.
Learners and assessors agree a timetable to complete the collation of evidence, to meet the requirements of the client.
Qualifications available
This course incorporates assessment and certification for the Level 1 Certificate in Network Construction Operations (Water) - awarded by CABWI.
Upon successful achievement of the qualification it is registered with the EUSR database.
