A 1 day training course for an understanding of water supply and fittings designed to meet the training requirements of WRAS, the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme, of which the majority of the UK water companies are members. It is aimed at anyone with an existing knowledge of plumbing and who is working in, or have some knowledge of, the water industry.

What qualifications will you achieve?

  • WRAS/BPEC Water Regulations certificate.
  • Successful candidates are encouraged to join the WIAPS - the Water Industry's Approved Plumbers Scheme. This enables them to issue a certificate of completion to both the householder and water company.

How is this training delivered?

  • Manual consists of twelve modules, an introduction and a glossary.
  • The very comprehensive course starts with intensive training in the 12 modules, followed by the completion of three assessments.
  • There are no practical elements - all training is theoretical.
  • Candidates must successfully pass all three assessments to gain the WRAS/BPEC Water Regulations certificate.
