Setting the standards in providing information, advice and guidance for our learners

Develop Training Ltd are pleased to announce they have been awarded a national quality standard for the delivery of information, advice and guidance to their learners. The standard, known as 'matrix' was officially granted to the company following a one week assessment programme across a number of the company's sites.

Andy Holmes, Head of Quality for Develop Training Ltd said: 'Achieving the matrix standard is testament to the way in which Develop Training Ltd operates, and shows the dedication and professionalism of all our staff. To have achieved the matrix standard across our centres shows that we provide learners with concise and up-to-date information on not only the training courses we offer, but also information on things such as the latest legislative changes or even where to enquire about courses that we do not currently offer'.

Another important factor with regards to Develop Training Ltd achieving this standard is the evidence that the company regularly listens to learner feedback and incorporates any suggestions into the company's future practices. Andy Holmes goes on to state 'This is only the start for Develop Training in proving that we listen to our end users and act accordingly. We will continue to use the matrix Quality Mark to maintain the high standard of customer service within Develop Training including excellent delivery of Information, Advice and Guidance to all Learners who access our services.

We want to continue this attitude to all the future learners who pass through our doors regardless of their age, race or background. We want to prove that we are a first class training provider and we will aim to achieve the matrix Gold standard in the near future'.

The matrix standard confirms Develop Training's commitment to government initiatives via "Train to Gain" and Apprenticeships programmes with the acquisition of this key Quality Mark, prescribed by the funding body - The Learning and Skills Council (LSC). Lisa Perkins, Head of Funded Learning states 'Gaining the matrix qualification was absolutely essential to Develop Training Ltd in order for us to prove that we are just no ordinary training provider. This standard proves to the LSC that we are a top quality learning provider and also gives learners the confidence that our training methods and attitudes are second to none'.
