SBWWI Leakage Conference

The Society of British Water and Wastewater Industries (SBWWI) held its successful annual leakage conference in Coventry on the 6th December.

The conference was attended by around a 100 delegates from through out the water industry. The speakers ranged from the industry regulators OFWAT and the Environment Agency through to the country’s leading experts in the leakage field. Keith Edwards, Senior Consultant with Develop, contributed a challenging presentation on the role of training in the fight to improve efficiency and reduce the level of water losses in the UK where water resources are seriously challenged.
