The facility is the only training centre in the country that replicates the 'real life' Pressure Control and Network Maintenance environment and will appeal to all Utility Network owners and associated contractors. In January 2007 Develop became one of the first approved NVQ centres to offer the new Networks Construction Operations (Water) NVQ at levels 1, 2S, 2M and 3 to the water sector.

Develop and Fulcrum Connection confirm contract for 'GIRS Design Complex' qualification (10/01/2007)
Following the success of Envoy's Jason Morris in becoming the first UK candidate to achieve the GIRS Design Complex of the Gas Network Engineering Management, Fulcrum Connection has just confirmed that it requires 89 candidates to undertake the Open University award, with a value of approximately £290k.

It's good to talk! Developing BT's technical skills (20/10/2006)
We all take our communications tools for granted, rarely thinking about how the infrastructure is created and maintained. Well, BT said "it's good to talk" and they practice what they preach. Develop's Health & Safety Business Unit Head Andy Johnson, talked to BT and Accenture, BT's Human Resources and training arm about incorporating new competency requirements for operatives using confined spaces. It was a long conversation with excellent results for BT.
