Bomb
Disposal
The
team aim to disarm a bomb
using equipment retrieved.
Develops teamwork, communication
and task analysis.
Blindfold
Square
Blindfolded,
participants aim to untangle
a rope and produce a perfect
square. Challenges the team's
verbal communications skills
and listening.
Dancing
Draughts
Provided
with five draught pieces
groups of 4/5 aim to place
the pieces in a set pattern
in a time run. The result
looks like a performing
art with each participant
following a set routine.
Keep
Dry
Initiative
exercise where the team
has to build a shelter with
very limited materials to
survive a real downpour.
Tests planning, decision
making, prioritisation and
time management skills.
Pipe
The team's strength is
tested in this exercise.
The pipe must be lowered
to the ground with all
participants remaining
in contact. The activity
tests team co-operation,
communication and problem
solving.

Saw Planks
The
whole group uses trial and
error to cross three see
saw planks. Tolerance, perseverance
and teamwork are required
to achieve this tricky challenge.
Skis
Sub-teams of 4/5 walk
together on skis crossing
a set area. The teambuilding
activities gets progressively
more difficult. Teamwork
and synergy is required.
Spiders
Web
The
team have to pass each team
member through the web without
alerting the spider. Physical
and mental abilities are
needed to achieve this task.
Up
and Under
Groups
aim to traverse a symmetrical
obstacle course going either
over or under ropes. Develops
communication, strategic
planning and teamwork.
