We have a wide range of mechanical training courses reflecting the latest methods and practices in mechanical engineering.
The value of our mechanical training courses is enhanced by schemes such as BTEC and City & Guilds qualifications for successful candidates.
In some cases, the successful completion of individual mechanical course units may be used as evidence to support the completion of different award schemes.
Based at a 42 acre site in York, and also in Swindon, the fully equipped mechanical demonstration and assessment facilities include:
- Aeronautical lighting and control system installations
- Confined Space installations
- Electrical inspection and test facilities
- Hazardous area installations
- High Voltage distribution systems
- Low Voltage distribution systems including standby generators and UPS installations
- Switchgear test and maintenance laboratory
- Air conditioning and ventilator systems
- Refrigeration systems and refrigerants handling
