'Best course I've ever been on' - SGN - Management Development

This week, we caught up with SGN delegates in Linlithgow to gain their thoughts on our managing an office environment course.
Develop Training (DTL) has designed this course to progress and support people from a variety of backgrounds and industry sectors, to increase their management and communication skills within an office based environment - moulding them in to effective team leaders and managers.
Scott McNeill, Communications Officer said: “The course was amazing, not only did I learn so much about how to effectively manage in an office environment, I also learnt about certain traits that I display which could have a negative impact on the rest of the team”. And continued: “All in all, probably the best course I’ve been on in my time at SGN, very enjoyable, I learned loads and what’s more, I’m going to put some things into practice”.

Glenda Locke, Resource Manager, said: “The course was very useful, and I hope to develop some sort of appraisal mechanism from it. The techniques learned really made me think and I would have no hesitation in recommending this course to anyone”.

Danny Sweeney, Engagement and Communications Officer, explained that our trainer was “phenomenal”, adding “it genuinely was a great course and an enjoyable week – plenty of good material and laughs. It was definitely the best course I’ve been on, and any manager would benefit from going on this course, no matter their level of experience”.
All delegates on the course thought that their overall contribution at work would improve because of the training and would recommend DTL in the future.
