MaTE programme recognised at high profile industry awards
25 April 2016
Last week, Develop Training Ltd (DTL) attended the H&V News Awards 2016, where our MaTE programme was nominated for ‘Training initiative of the year’.
The H&V News Awards is celebration of excellence, forward thinking and the highest achievements across the entire HVAC and building services value chain. This year there was more than 1,100 people in attendance to witness what H&V News Editor in Chief Andrew Gaved described as “a showcase of innovation”.
The event, which took place in London, rewarded the success and outstanding achievements of those within the industry, and DTL’s MaTE programme – submitted in conjunction with SGN – was in good company on the night, up against ICE, IET and IMechE, Glasgow Kelvin College and eventual winners Hargreaves Ductwork among others.
“To have been shortlisted for such a prestigious award shows the quality of our MaTE training programme and, more widely, DTL’s Management Development courses,” said Marketing Manager Steve Braund, “We are proud to see MaTE being recognised, and congratulate all of our fellow finalists on their achievements.”
Our MaTE programme is an innovative, interactive and engaging programme created by DTL and accredited by the ILM. Using a combination of theory-based training sessions that focus on essential people skills, followed by innovative real-play scenario, delegates are able to gain an understanding of key management techniques and their practical application in the workplace.
DTL has delivering more than 85 MaTE courses to over 250 SGN delegates, both from our training centre in Linlithgow, Scotland, and on site in the South of England.
