New e-portfolio system set to speed up learning

Develop Training advances in to the 21st Century of portfolio building with the introduction of Learning Assistant, an electronic portfolio system offering instant and remote access to the learner-assessor interface.

Completing qualifications through this method is 40% quicker than the paper based portfolio's, which have proved to be cumbersome and time consuming, due to the need to travel from learner to learner. Learning Assistant also promotes a higher standard of internal verification and improves communication between learner and assessor.

Employers can also have access to the platform where they can monitor the progress of their employees and obtain professional progress reports. A number of Develop Training's major utility clients are already benefiting from the new system including Scottish Water and GTC.
