The aim of this workshop is to give delegates knowledge of the COSHH Regulations and the information necessary to recognise hazardous substances within these regulations and to be able to be knowledgeable of risk assessments and controls.

Training Purpose:

At the end of the workshop delegates will be able to:

• Identify the basic requirements of the COSHH regulations
• Identify the symbol relating to a COSHH substance
• Identify routes of entry into the human form
• Identify the types of diseases affecting the human body in contact with COSHH substances
• Identify key information on a product data sheet
• Identify how assessments are carried out and identify control measures.
