Delivery Manager – Electrical & Mechanical
John has over a decade's experience delivering training, predominantly in engineering environments. This experience overlaps his 24 years spent in the Royal Navy specialising in engineering maintenance, fault diagnostics, power generation and distribution. John also boasts several years' management experience and is responsible for all Electrical and Mechanical training delivered by DTL.
A Fellow of the IET, Al boasts almost 40 years' experience in senior electrical engineer roles all over the world in management and training roles for multinational gas and energy companies. During the latter, he developed Chevron's Electrical Safe Work Practice training courses for qualified and non-qualified electrical persons, and carried out electrical safety compliance field audits.
Stuart is a highly qualified electrical lecturer specialising in high voltage Authorised Persons and Authorising Engineer courses, commercial safety rules and bespoke HV commissioning courses for multinational organisations. He spent 15 years working on the British military estate in the UK and overseas in Authorised Person roles for HV/LV disciplines, hazardous areas and bulk fuel installations.
Richard joined DTL following a 20 year career divided between the military, where he operated as an Electrical Engineer with the Royal Engineers, and industry where he gained almost a decade of experience supporting the installation, examination, testing and maintenance of low voltage equipment and systems. He has experience delivering a wide range of electrical training courses.
Brian has been delivering electrical and mechanical training for almost 20 years, following over 30 years working for the Department of the Environment in estates roles, where he was responsible for the Approved Persons teams across a number of military sites. In addition to delivering training for DTL, he also develops bespoke high voltage training courses to meet individual client requirements.
Terry joined DTL from a further education college where he'd been delivering a variety of electrical training. His career includes 20 years' experience in specialist fault finding using techniques including thermal imaging and acoustic emissions, along with 12 years' as CE approval for a £250m Mail Centre in Langley, responsible for upkeep and approval of all technical changes to plant and machinery.
