Day 2 - The People

  • Understanding goal setting, team delegation and the dynamics of teams.
  • A look at team types and 5 dysfunctions of teams.
  • Communication styles and motivation in teams using social styles.
  • Stakeholder Management, Influencing and Politics. Exploring models to help you understand and deal with the complexity that people bring to the project.

Day 3 - The People

  • Managing difficult Conversations.
  • Solving problems; Obstacles and Blockages analysis.
  • Accountability and identifying decision makers.
  • Driving change from both the process and the people perspectives.
  • Targeting communications to facilitate buy-in, ownership and accountability.
  • Case study application.

How is this training delivered?

  • This is a classroom based course.
  • Using employee's personal experiences to gain an understanding of the main issues, the workshop utilises individual and group exercises, case studies, self-reflection, sharing in pairs, fish bowl exercises, to relate project management to employee's own jobs so they can easily be applied on a day to day basis.

What qualifications will you achieve?
