- Setting up the team and assigning Roles and Responsibilities.
- Techniques including Network Analysis, Critical Path Analysis, Scheduling, Resource Planning, Risk Analysis and Contingency Planning.
Day 2 - The People
- Understanding goal setting, team delegation and the dynamics of teams.
- A look at team types and 5 dysfunctions of teams.
- Communication styles and motivation in teams using social styles.
- Stakeholder Management, Influencing and Politics. Exploring models to help you understand and deal with the complexity that people bring to the project.
Day 3 - The People
- Managing difficult Conversations.
- Solving problems; Obstacles and Blockages analysis.
- Accountability and identifying decision makers.
- Driving change from both the process and the people perspectives.
- Targeting communications to facilitate buy-in, ownership and accountability.
- Case study application.
How is this training delivered?
- This is a classroom based course.
- Using employee's personal experiences to gain an understanding of the main issues, the workshop utilises individual and group exercises, case studies, self-reflection, sharing in pairs, fish bowl exercises, to relate project management to employee's own jobs so they can easily be applied on a day to day basis.
What qualifications will you achieve?
