Following the Governments advice, our training centres will be closed from 4.30pm on Friday 20th March. The decision allows the company to take heed of the Government's advice for Social Distancing in our classrooms and communal areas.
Develop Training takes the threat of Covid-19 very seriously and is following the latest government guidance for employers and educational settings to make sure we protect our learners and staff. Please be assured that the wellbeing of learners, staff and our employers is our first priority and we're taking steps to both protect everyone and ensure that your learning can continue with as few disruptions as possible.
What does this mean for those already booked on courses?
We would like to reassure all our clients that, where possible, we would still like to support ongoing training at their sites, with this in mind, if our customers would like the training to go ahead at their site, please contact us and we will do our upmost to ensure the events go ahead as planned, following the latest government guidance on safe working practices.
Offices remain open for staff
Develop Training staff where possible will still be attending work (following Government guidance) and all centres will remain open at this time to staff. This situation will be reviewed on a daily basis and updates and changes communicated where required.
Health and Safety
As a reminder, the latest guidance regarding health and safety is:
- Follow standard good hygiene practice.
- People should stay at home if they are unwell with a new, continuous cough or a high temperature to avoid spreading infection to others.
- If one person in any household has a persistent cough or fever, everyone living there must stay at home for 14 days.
This is a rapidly evolving situation and we will continue to follow the guidance issued by the government, Public Health England and World Health Organisation.
Looking after your mental health during this time will be extremely important - there are so many ideas circulating so make the most of the time and why not visit Mind - Coronavirus and your wellbeing for ideas.
