How is this training delivered?

  • Visits to local water treatment plants are arranged to provide opportunities to see the theory of water treatment in practice.
  • The course begins with the basic principles but quickly develop to a technical level sufficient for the efficient and effective operation of a water treatment plant.

What do I need to bring with me?

  • Please bring waterproof clothing, wellington boots, safety helmets and a suitable note book will be required for site visits.
  • Learners can bring with them any materials used in their work, copies of risk assessments or management systems so that they can see how their materials fit in to the context of the training.
