We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical High Voltage and Low Voltage Safe Systems of Work Trainer, in the South of England (commutable to our Swindon centre), to join our team on a full-time basis. There is one role available based at either our Scotland or York training centres.

What will you be doing?

  • Delivering training and assessments for the product area.
  • Working closely with the Operational Training Manager to maintain and develop our products.
  • Working with sales and marketing to respond to customer enquiries.

Skills/Qualifications/Experience

Essential:

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Working knowledge of safe systems of work for HV & LV and various types of switchgear.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a HV & LV Authorised Person.
  • Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

Desirable:

  • Experience within the Health Service or Defence Estates, completing and issuing switching schedules and permits to work.
  • Level 3 Assessor Qualification (TAQA, A1 or equivalent).
  • Level 3 Teaching qualification (PTLLS, AET or equivalent).
  • HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

Interview Information

First stage interviews will take place over telephone for approximately twenty-minutes. With a view to progress successful candidates to a face-to-face interview at one of our Training Centres whereby you will be asked a set of competency-based questions followed by a micro-teach conducted by yourself.
