Working in partnership with Derby County Community Trust, Northern Gas Networks and African Adventures Develop Training are sending three colleagues to Kenya to support a life-changing project.
The charity project will see the volunteers working at one of five schools in the slum area of Nakuru in Kenya. The children who attend these schools are amongst some of the poorest in the world.
Without donations these schools would not be able to provide education, otherwise denied to their students, as their families are unable to afford the costs for their children to attend the state schools.
We’re calling on all our colleagues, customers and family and friends to help support this worthy cause by donating items from the list below – these will all help improve the lives of the children and their families.
Our volunteers will be taking all the donated items with them on the trip so you can guarantee that your donations will make it to their intended destination.
Help us support schools in Kenya
Simply pop into one of our training centres and drop off your items with our Centre Administrator. Alternatively, you can pass your items onto a member of staff and they will drop the them off at one of the centres on your behalf.

- Sanitary products (no tampons)

- Bras & underwear (new only)
- Pencils and sharpeners
- Old textbooks
- Number charts
- Large story books
- Parachute (for games)
