Introducing Our New Team Member, Brandon Clark
At Develop, we’re always excited to welcome new talent to our team, and today, we are thrilled to introduce you to our newest member, Brandon Clark. Brandon joins us as an F-Gas Trainer and will be an integral part of our Estates and Facilities Management team.
But that’s not all; Brandon is also set to embark on Develop’s Emerge and Evolve programme, an initiative aimed at “training the trainer.” This programme provides individuals with extensive industry experience, like Brandon, the opportunity to acquire teaching qualifications, enabling them to become trainers themselves. A Journey Rooted in Dedication
Brandon’s journey in the world of refrigeration and air conditioning began in 2015 when he embarked on his career as an apprentice. He successfully completed his Level 2 NVQ and then continued on to conquer the Level 3. After successfully concluding his apprenticeship, he remained with the same company, but this time, not as an apprentice – as an engineer.
While most people anticipate the summer as a time for relaxation, for Brandon, as an air-conditioning engineer, it meant facing a relentless workload.
A Teacher at Heart
During his tenure as an engineer, Brandon found himself mentoring a group of apprentices. As he shared his knowledge and experience, he realised that this was where his true passion lay. Brandon aspired to take the next step in his career, one that would allow him to continue nurturing the talents of budding professionals. – and this is where Develop came in.
With a distinct lack of trainers in the sector, Develop has created an innovative training programme that trains those working ‘hands on’ in various industries to become trainers of the future. This enables professionals to get ‘off the tools’ and into a sustainable, long-term training career as well as pass on their invaluable skills to inspire and educate the next generation. Brandon is one of the first people to join this programme and we look forward to seeing his journey progress.
Life Beyond Work
Beyond his professional life, Brandon is an active individual. Running and gym workouts are his go-to activities but he also enjoys a spot of hiking. Located in Hull, he often ventures into the North Yorkshire Moors, Yorkshire Dales, and even the Lake District, relishing the breathtaking landscapes and peaceful moments these regions offer.
