Gas Network Electrical Module - Portal Appliance Testing (GNEM5) training course
The GNEM5 is a 2-day refresher for the in service and inspection of portable electrical equipment. The course looks the company policy regarding the testing and inspection of portable equipment and updates the users on the COP that governs the inspection and testing of portable equipment. This course is a requirement for Workshop Plant Maintenance teams as part of the authorisation process (EL6).

As a prerequisite to sitting on GNEM5, the delegate must hold a City and Guilds certificate for Inservice and inspection of portable equipment.
This course is required every 5 years as part of the EL6 authorisation process.
