How is this training delivered?

  • Theory is delivered in the classroom but the course incorporates a significant element of practical hands on training (in a controlled simulation).

What do I need to bring with me?

  • Delegates should bring with them hearing protection, safety boots, safety glasses, hard hat, working gloves and overalls/high visibility vests. Note that Gloves and Boots in Moling operations must be "insulating" and overalls must be fire resistant.
  • A significant proportion of the course is delivered outdoors and waterproof (possibly warm) clothing is advisable.
  • Delegates can bring with them any materials used in their work, copies of risk assessments or management systems so that they can see how their materials fit in to the context of the training.
