Last month we hosted our annual Develop Training staff conference during which we celebrated and acknowledged our wonderful team with several awards, all voted for by employees at our company.
We’re delighted to share news of the five winners and some of the reasons why they received their awards…
Team of the Year
This year our winners were the Quality Assurance & Audit department, which is a relatively new team that was formed in 2021. Since then, they’ve contributed an incredible amount to the business in their support of the operational training delivery teams and even started offering commercial consultancy to our customers.
The Customer Service Award
Our winner Michele Clark is the welcoming face of our Derby centre. Michele is known for her effortless balance of warmth and professionalism, managing to be both an empathetic staff member and a vigilant administrator. It’s all been reflected in not only her colleagues’ feedback but the glowing words of her delegates.
The Extra Mile Award
Di Dudson, a highly experienced member of the Develop Training team was our recipient this year. Di is the first point of contact for a variety of issues and always goes above and beyond, which is exactly why she’s deserving of the Extra Mile award.
The Best Colleague Award
Colleagues said that this year’s winner, Daryll Garavan, is the man everyone knows can be relied upon to “get things done”. But that’s not all Daryll is known for, his peers said that he is incredibly kind, positive, professional, and always sticks to his word.
Employee of the Year
Our final winner was Carrie Darley, who is an outstanding example of a true overachiever. We’re incredibly fortunate to have Carrie, someone who always extends a helping hand no matter how much is on her plate. From health and safety management to customer service to even mopping the floors, Carrie is always willing to get stuck in. It’s what makes her a beloved part of this company and one we’re proud to celebrate.
